BRIDAL BEAUTY

White earth pony with white mane and tail (irridescent tinsel), pink heart symbol with flowers and beads.

If you had missed out on the original issue of Pony Bride, there was no reason to panic. In 1992, Hasbro brought out what could only be described as her younger sister, Bridal Beauty. My sister definitely benefited from this state of affairs, because by the time she was old enough she realised she wanted Pony Bride, Bridal Beauty was the only thing on sale! (I don't think she even really noticed the difference xD)

Identical in colour and pose to Pony Bride, Bridal Beauty had a unique symbol and her accessories were somewhat different (comprising a bouquet, a different kind of veil, and such like). Whereas Pony Bride had a unique silver bordered box in the European/UK issue, Bridal Beauty's was uniform to the European dark pink box style for the year, at least in the UK. She was sold worldwide.

She made one comic appearance, buying wedding supplies from Sweetheart's shop. In the picture, you can clearly see the beads of her veil (although she is not wearing the full veil) and the ring.
