BEDTIME NEWBORNS

This year's newborns were also pretty much back to basics. Three babies, one pegasus and two earthlings were released as 'Bedtime newborns', and sold with an accessory of a newborn baby bottle that matched the colour of their hair. They retailed for between £2.49 (Children's World) to £3.25 (Woolworths).

The three babies were sold on tiny pink cards and shared a backcard story, like many ponies this year. They had no combs.

Hasbro's UK list names Baby Moondream as "Moonbeam" which may have been a pre-production name (but this is not confirmed). Her card clearly states Moondream.

These ponies were also sold in Australia - apparently as part of an Easter promotion, inside easter eggs and without accessories. (Thanks to Daffodil at the Arena for this information!)
