Skyflier was probably the first anorak pony, in the sense that she had an obsessive hobby and habit that involved windy days and trips to the nearest hill!

Yes, Skyflier was a unicorn with a kite flying obsession. Seems rather mundane really, doesn't it? Though she was sold as part of the first curly haired set, she was one of the ponies who did NOT get curly hair! Please note she is wearing her original ribbon in the picture.

She was never sold in the UK. She had an extensive run as a comic character in the UK without ever appearing on store shelves, making her a popular acquisition among UK collectors when first starting out!
