Unicorn and Pegasus Ponies

These are some of the best known and best loved little pony characters. All of them featured extensively in the pony comics in the UK, though tragically none of them were ever sold over here. Instead they saw a widespread American release, and even reached parts of Europe.

They each had distinct personalities in the comics. Moondancer was mischievous, playing tricks and games. She could also light the way with her horn. Twilight was a nomad, drifting in and out of ponyland in a cloud of mist. She was both wise and shy and the ponies would often apply to her for help. Glory was 'the most elegant' of the ponies. She was also smart. Medley was musical, and quick thinking. Firefly was a daredevil, and harebrained on occasion, getting herself into scrapes Medley had to get her out of. And Sunbeam was the optimist and the party giver. I always hated her for being My Little Pony's answer to Barbie, but that wasn't really her fault ;)

Each pony had a glittering symbol, and each unicorn had a streak of a different colour in her hair.
