1988: Summer Wing Ponies

HIGH FLIER

Lavender "winger" with aqua mane and tail, metallic silver dragonfly symbol, blue, pink and yellow butterfly wings.

High Flier (or Flyer, as some will have it - myself I'm unsure which is correct) is unique among her Summer Wing sisters in one clear way - she has a metallic painted symbol instead of a basic matte one. There doesn't seem to be any clear reason why - but Hasbro decided that it would look better in silver, and so it was!

She played a fleeting role in the comic stories from this year.
