There is no getting away from it -Bubbles and Seashell were both odd and unique at the same time. Seashell's crowning achievement in the UK stories was to have her shadow stolen - and to have to brave all kinds of scary dangers in order to get it back. (Of course, she always had the help of one of Majesty's songs to guide her!). Seashell was also a beach-loving pony, and she would spend a lot of time at the seaside, talking with the sea ponies (with whom she was great friends), or Miranda, the young mermaid.

Like Bubbles, Seashell had the distinctive diamond blaze on her forehead. I don't believe that she was ever featured in the cartoon series.

It's not entirely clear how they were sold in the UK, only that they were and that they were sold as part of the same set they had been issued with in the United States. Their backcard featured these six earth ponies, with a general comment about the ponies (no story). Thanks to Rowenatm for this information!

It's worth mentioning here that variant releases of Seashell seldom - if ever - have the blaze on the forehead, though many have freckles or nothing at all about the face.
