Who couldn't love Cascade?
Despite her relative anonymity (one story in one annual, once), Cascade is by far the more appealing of the two Waterfall ponies sold in the UK. She is also special by dint of the fact she did not have a global release, and is hard to find even in her native United Kingdom. I am unsure as to whether she was ever sold in parts of Europe or Australasia, but, probably because many children already had bought the set with Sprinkles, she does not show up often at carboot sales.
It is impossible to know Cascade's personality from her one story outing, and this isn't helped by the fact that she and Sprinkles were released with exactly the same story. Her fact file entry merely mentions that she likes to sunbathe and play by the Waterfall -which gives little room for supposition. What is for sure, however, is that Duck Soup continued to be sold with the playset on into 1985.
