1989: Windy Wing Ponies
MOON JUMPER
Lavender 'winger' with blue mane and tail, dark pink cow leaping the moon symbol. Blue, dark pink and yellow butterfly wings.
Ah, Moon Jumper. This is where the sense of reality leaves Ponyland completely. Yes, you read it right. Moon Jumper's symbol is a cow jumping over the moon.
Moon Jumper was tied in with the old nursery rhyme, 'Hey Diddle Diddle', in which a cow did indeed jump over the moon. This particular winger befriended the cow, and often said hello to her on her way to visit her friend, Mr Moon. (I want to know why all these space bodies are males!).
Like Starry Wings, therefore, her favourite time was night, when the moon and stars were in the sky.
