BABY KIRSCHBLÜTE
(Aka Baby Cherries Jubilee)

Baby Kirschblüte, better known to English speaking collectors as "Baby Cherries Jubilee" was one of the ponies uniquely sold in specific parts of Europe. Despite often being mistakenly listed as a "UK Baby Pony" on prominent pony collecting sources, she was never sold over here. (I wish she had been, since Cherries Jubilee was one of my childhood ponies!). Like most of the early baby ponies in this pose, Baby Kirschblüte has freckles on her nose!

Initially selling for stupid amounts of money on various internet sites, Baby Kirschblüte remains popular with collectors (if, fortunately, not quite so expensive as she used to be).

I do not believe the necklace my baby is wearing in the photo came with this pony.

Baby Kirschblüte is very true to her mother's appearance, and this is unsurprising given the fact that Cherries Jubilee continued to be sold well into 1986 in Europe, the year preceding this set's release!
