1989: Sweetheart Sister Ponies

I always saw Dainty as something of a leader character in the comic stories. For a start, she was one of the first two Sweetheart Sister Ponies to be introduced, marching onto the scene and announcing herself to Starry Wings and a leprechaun called Liam. Rather than being 'discovered', the Sweetheart Sisters seemed to have a calm assumption they would be welcomed into Ponyland. Where did they come from? Noone really knows!

Like so many other ponies, she also had a magic trick of her very own. In keeping with the set's floral theme, Dainty would blink her eyes and make floral garlands appear from nowhere. That must be a useful trait to have if someone's getting married...

As can be seen by the Mint in Box picture (top right), Dainty's accessories matched her earring in the UK :)
