1987: Mountain Boy Ponies

FIREBALL

Pinkish purple shire pony with dark purple mane and tail (yellow streak in mane), Yellow and orange fireball symbol. FRECKLED.

Fireball was the Mountain Boy who was always in a hurry. As opposed to Tornado's eager sentence-finishing, Fireball was simply impatient and always on the go somewhere. I remember a story from the 1988 annual where he gets in everyone's hair with his fussing around and he winds up having an interesting lesson taught to him by Ice Crystal and a number of 'flapdoodle' slides. Yeah, you haveta read it to get it...;) He was also energetic - the ultimate energizer pony!

I'm reliably informed by Lady Guinevere that her Fireball came with a purple frog brush and since that is one of the adult boy brushes/combs I had as a child also, I'm prepared to believe she's right. His ribbon is still a mystery, as MOC Mountain Boys do not pop up on Ebay very often (or at all, these days!)
