1986: Flutter Ponies

LILY

Pink flutter pony with lavender mane and tail, green and pink plant - possibly a lily, but doesn't look much like MY lily -symbol, irridescent wings (often missing).

I don't know quite what it was with Lily. I don't remember her ever being a significant player in the comic and, when pictured in the fact file, she was shown all in lavender, instead of the pink which she so clearly actually is. She was undoubtedly sold here, but it does not appear that her issue went into two years the way it did in North America.

Lily had no comic personality to speak of, so I can't dwell on it at all here. All I can say is that she had her requisite flutter pony backcard/fact file poem, and here it is:

"Flutter Ponies bring good luck,
And fill the air with love,
When you lay your head to sleep,
Lily watches you from above ."
