1986: Flutter Ponies

ROSEDUST

Pale yellow flutter pony with pale mane and tail, green and pink roses and buds symbol, irridescent wings (often missing).

Rosedust had the ultimate attitude problem in the pony movie. Aside from a highly affected voice, she was most reluctant to help the ponies do anything, even at the cost of their homes and their lives. She also wore a rather stupid little feather on her head :S

Rosedust in the comic was not quite such a crazy, though she was still undisputed Queen and that status probably explains her re-release with the second set of Flutters in all countries where such ponies were sold (including the UK). She came with very pale pink hair, though this often fades out to white and makes her look seriously nasty :S

Like with all the Flutter Ponies, Rosedust had a rough"poem" for a backcard story, which was also printed up in the Fact File. They give the vaguest hint to the pony's intended character, and her's was as follows:

"Flutter Ponies bring good luck,
They like to sing and play,
If there's a worry on your mind,
Rosedust will send your cares away."
