Ringlets was obviously the Hasbro favourite for this year, as she not only got to be the poster pony for the 1994 insert, she even got a little speech bubble too (in English and German, for all the inserts in 1994 were in English and German both in the UK release).

I find her name a bit ironic, considering her hair is crimped, not curly, but never mind.

She shares that name with another hair-related pony: Ringlets the Brush n Grow from 1988!

The hair ties in the image is not original, although she did come with a yellow shooting star comb and a yellow bow hairtie...if memory serves her bow hairclip was also pink or purple. Believe me, for 1994, that was a LOT of accessories!

Ringlets was only sold in the 1993/4 line, and was never sold in North America.
