1987: Sea Sparkle Baby Sea Ponies

Yellow baby sea pony with pale pink and purple hair, green shell necklace, blue and dark pink crocodile (or alligator) float.

Surfy's necklace - though unclear in the photo, is a green shell design, and she was sold in the newer looking up pose, but with an older style of float. Her hair is meant to be pale pink and purple, though the pink often fades with time and sunlight to white. This is not a variation, but damage to the pony.

Her backcard story tells us all about a beach party Surfy threw for her friends near the shore. Whilst the other baby sea ponies were happy to play and surf the little waves, Surfy wanted to go out and try the big ones that curled "so high they touched the clouds".

She was never sold in the UK.
