sotsugyou M: the seiyuu

Kanna Nobutoshi
Kanna Nobutoshi (also known as Hayashi Nobutoshi, under which name he was still recording/performing whilst involved with Sotsugyou M) is a well known seiyuu for other roles such as "Tasuki" in Fushigi Yuugi (which was how I first came by him and his amazing singing voice), "Randy" in Angelique and "Midou Ban" in Getbackers. More recently he's been voicing "Tei Yuushun" in Saiunkoku Monogatari, Nowaki in Junjou Romantica and "Nnoitra" in Bleach.
Kanna-san is as well known for his music as he is for his voice acting, however. He plays electric guitar - and plays it damn well, to be honest, as he played it somewhat in the E.M.U first live and also to support Iwata Mitsuo's live performance of "Don't Be Afraid" at Haruka Matsuri 2005 (see right). He's made numerous live singing performances at neoromance lives as "Randy", also taking part in live dramas at the same events. He is signed to Aoni Productions and was involved in their anniversary celebrations in 2000 (Voice Festival to 2000, which was released on VHS and at which he performed two songs from the 42.195 album if memory serves me correctly).
As well as his singing for E.M.U, he and Midorikawa Hikaru paired up to release a single under the tag "Zero Phoenix" (with two damn good songs, t'boot!) and he has done a lot of solo music work, releasing at least three full albums as well as maxi singles.
How he finds time for it all is beyond me.
Eventually I intend to get lyrics up on this site for Kanna-san's songs too, because the CD releases are practically nowhere on the web in terms of lyrics and so forth.
Favourite non:M Kanna-san character: Tasuki from Fushigi Yuugi. Of course. :D
