sotsugyou M: the seiyuu

 

This section is dedicated to the principle seiyuu of Sotsugyou M, namely the five seiyuu who made up the unit E.M.U. For their specifically E.M.U stuff, please see the separate tab - this is a more general overview of the seiyuu in question and some of their own works, etc.

Because at the end of the day, I'm a fan of seiyuu as well as I am Sotsugyou M. And three of the seiyuu were the thing that got me into M in the first place, so all things go around.

Sotsugyou M Seiyuu Events

I believe there were a few of these...certainly towards the end of M's lifespan, there were Sotsugyou M World events - the lead up, in some respects, to the subsequent spinoff GIZOKU.

I know there were CDs released from at least one of these events but I don't have any of them at present so I can't expand on that any further. What I can mention, however, is that in the July copy of the 1999 Voice Animage magazine, there is a brief article covering the "Seiryuusai" (Seiryuu Festival) which I've scanned (click on the thumbnail to view full size).

This definitely connected with the GIZOKU universe and featured at least 3 of the original seiyuu (well, three and a half, since Midorikawa-san communicated with the arena via video message, thanks to contracting a cold).

 

I will get around to translating it at some point, no doubt - but at least for now, if you can't read Japanese, there's some pictures ;) My scanner is a sad beast, and so the quality isn't perfect - but either way, I wanted to share anyhow :D
