1990: Glittering Sweetheart Sister Ponies

SUNBLOSSOM

Pale pink sweetheart sister style pony with pale pinkmane and tail rooted with red tinsel. Glittering silver-blue stars design, lavender floral earring.

As with many of this set, the naming and the symbols did not entirely tally up, and I was always left wondering why it was that the little pony decked in stars should be given the name "Sunblossom". Vaguely I remember her having some kind of magic trick, although I am not quite sure what it was.

What I do know for sure is that Sunblossom is often found with faded out hair. The pictured pony above has the correct shade of pink hair but she is one of those ponies who fades out very easily in sunlight, and a white haired version is not a variation.

She was sold in a box in the UK and European release, but on card in the US:
